The consultation will be via phone/email (or video app, depending on your chosen Career Consultant).
We will question you to gain a full understanding of your career goals, job history, achievements, voluntary experience and technical skills that match the role of interest.
Your Career Consultant will begin the process of documenting and organising your unique accomplishments, areas of expertise and workplace strengths which will be highlighted using job and industry-specific keywords and phrases.
Your first draft will be developed with the information you provided and will be as accurate as possible. We provide up to two sets of edits for any changes you request.
You will receive an editable MS Word document optimised for Applicant Tracking Software (ATS) with a modern, clean and dynamic layout. For most applications, employers will request PDFs as their preferred format, so you will also receive PDF versions of all your final documents. PDFs are much larger files than Word documents, and these can sometimes fail to be successfully uploaded into systems due to their size. In that event, uploading your Word document is the preferred method of applying to ensure your documents are seen by a person.
OUR FEES for all Career Services are specifically packaged to meet your individual requirements or may be charged at an hourly rate. When we confirm your requirements we will provide you with the appropriate fee options to best assist you with finding the right career service to meet your needs. (*All prices are GST exclusive.)
All our clients receive their resume, cover letter or selection criteria as a Microsoft Word document that you can edit yourself. We also provide you with a PDF version.
It generally takes between 7 and 10 BUSINESS days to return your completed documents to you. However, we do our best to return them to you sooner, and can often do so but a lot of it depends on how prepared and organised you are. Because we create competency-, evidence- and achievement-based Resumes we need your help in gathering work-related examples of your results and successes.
