This workshop will provide participants with the skills to write a professional resume aligned to their key skills and experience.

Workshops are delivered by Career Consultants with extensive industry experience in resume writing.

Workshop topics:

  • What employers are looking for;
  • Identifying your talents, skills and abilities;
  • Outlining your experience succinctly;
  • What other information to include.

Job Search Workshops

This workshop will provide participants with the knowledge and strategies they need to conduct a successful job search. Workshops are delivered by Career Consultants who understand today’s competitive job market.

Workshop topics:

  • Position yourself in today’s job market;
  • Discover where to find employment;
  • How to interpret job advertisements and position descriptions;
  • Preparing job applications;
  • Getting job ready;
  • How to present yourself to potential employers.

Interview Skills Workshops

This workshop will provide participants with the knowledge and strategies they need to present themselves in a job interview. Workshops are delivered by Career Consultants with experience in coaching clients on developing interview strategies and know what potential employers are looking for in a candidate.

Workshop topics:

  • Mock interview – feedback and input across all aspects of the mock interview;
  • Interview scenarios – one-on-one, phone, panel or group interviews;
  • Develop an interview strategy – research, plan, prepare and coaching on your key strengths;
  • General interview questions – answering confidently and asking the appropriate questions;
  • Behavioural questions – understanding how to respond;
  • Communication and interpersonal skills – body language, dress code, tone of voice, visual expression and building rapport;
  • Interview follow-up;
  • Accepting a job offer.
